Ian joined Field Service .CA in October of 2021. He started his career working in the Professional Live events industry in 2010 as a stagehand at Canada’s Wonderland. After graduating from Sheridan College’s Technical production for Theatre and Live Events program, he joined Princess Cruise Lines as a backstage technician and later became assistant lighting operator. He then came home to work as a Lead Live Events Operator and Audio-Visual Systems Drafter. He has recently achieved the CTS certification and continues to learn and evolve within the industry. 

As a Drafting and Documentation Specialist, Ian is responsible for: 

• Generating and modifying project related Drawings and Documentation

• Assisting with the design of the project

• Creating End User Manuals and One Sheet Operation Guides

• Aiding the team with any drawing related tasks
