Project Scope:

Churchill Meadows Christian Church (CMCC) is a newly constructed 800 seat Community Church in Mississauga, Ontario. Field Service .CA was contracted to complete the design, supply and installation of the performance lighting, rigging, audio and video. The system’s integration plan for this diverse multi-function space included the main sanctuary but also a community youth centre, children’s ministry, gymnasium, four (4) classrooms, boardroom and general area audio video solutions.

Notable Features

Due to the functional requirements and the performance nature of the Sunday services (and the request by the client to have a flexible multi-purpose venue), Field Service .CA integrated current digital solutions for all of the performance and production systems. These designs include the Roland V Mix Digital Audio Console, Snake, and Personal Stage Mixers. This system allows for the audio system to be operated by one technician mixing the front of house mix and enabling the on-stage talent and worship leaders to adjust their monitor mix locally on-stage, live. The integration of an ETC Paradigm House lighting control system with the Element lighting console allows for operators of all technical levels to either operate the lighting systems with the touch of a button or through the full featured deployment of a theatrical lighting console. The digital transmission and switching of the Production Video throughout the venue allows content to be distributed to any room for either overflow coverage or full featured broadcast of content to the building and its patrons.
