From hands-on technical work at regional theatres to managing large-scale integrations, Ben’s dedication to the production industry runs deep. Throughout his dynamic career, his expertise in system design, customer relations, and project execution has continually expanded and evolved.

Ben cut his teeth in the live events world as a Theatre Technician, eventually stepping into leadership as the Technical Director for the Tivoli Theatre, followed by a role as a Scenic and Lighting Technician for Drayton Entertainment. Building on this strong technical foundation, he shifted gears into installation and service management. He joined Jack Frost Ltd. as an Installation Technician before being promoted to Service and Installation Manager.

His passion for large-scale events and complex integration projects quickly grew, leading him to a Senior Account Manager position at Production Resource Group (PRG). In 2019, Ben expanded his leadership footprint by launching his own design and production company. Concurrently, he served as the Production Manager for the inaugural Toronto Biennial of Art and took on the role of Senior Account Manager for Christie Lites Sales.

Now, with Field Service, Ben is eager to explore new avenues for delivering world-class integration projects and elevating the standard of client success

With his vast background in the staging and lighting industry, Ben brings a robust set of management skills and competencies to the table, including:

• Project Management: Overseeing large-scale project installations for both sales and rentals.

• Business Development: Leading marketing initiatives, fostering customer relations, and preparing detailed specifications and proposals for sales and rentals.

• System Design and Specification: Translating technical requirements into comprehensive specifications and designing functional audio, video, staging and lighting systems tailored to complex production environments.
