PICKERING FIRE AND EMERGENCY SERVICES

Paging System: JBL Speaker, Crown Audio, Lectrosonics DSP’s, Lectrosonics Telephone Hybrid Interface

Control System: Crestron

Project Manager: Kevin Wimberly

System Designer: Wayne Korhonen

Project Scope:

Pickering Fire And Emergency Services contacted Field Service .CA to help upgrade their distributed paging systems in four fire halls. We worked with local Pickering Fire Chief’s to design a quality paging retrofit to add clarity to their emergency alerts. Our project installation team completed the deployment under the short timeline available.

Notable Features:

The alert monitoring system (MOSCAD) is distributed through the city via a wireless Motorola system. With our experience from the deployment of a paging alert system (in the Town of Ajax Fire Halls) we designed a paging system which not only enables complete coverage of all critical spaces but also the visual strobe alert and local paging broadcast to the halls areas. The integration of a telephone hybrid system allows for the halls to receive incoming phone alerts along with the MOSCAD radio calls. Each hall has a multi-zone paging system with exterior coverage and individual zone level control.
